The family-run Alphotel Stocker nature spa & beauty***S in Sand in Taufers is perfect for a relaxing holiday in summer and winter with a variety of mountain adventures and wellness experiences in the Tauferer Ahrntal. The cordial host family and the excellent cuisine, the well-kept wellness oasis and the range of activities on offer as well as our cosy rooms and suites create an ambience in which guests can feel at ease and recharge their batteries. Our highlight for health-conscious guests are the fasting weeks with alkaline fasting or therapeutic fasting according to Otto Buchinger.

The indoor pool with whirlpool, the sauna area and the multi-sensory showers invite you to relax. Our guests can also boost their well-being with wellness and beauty treatments: Host Anneliese uses a combination of Ayurveda and local herbs in her treatments. Guests at the Alphotel Stocker nature spa & beauty are also spoilt with culinary delights: the gourmet board includes a rich breakfast buffet with an organic corner, homemade cakes in the afternoon and a 4-course menu of choice in the evening. A gluten-free version of the meals is also available on advance reservation. We also have special offers that combine fasting with Kneipp therapy, yoga and forest bathing, for example.

The fantastic mountain world of the Tauferer Ahrntal and the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park is best discovered in summer while hiking and biking. In winter, the slopes of the Speikboden and Klausberg ski areas beckon, with the ski bus stopping right outside the Alphotel Stocker nature spa & beauty. There is a ski depot in the hotel, and we lend snowshoes, bikes and hiking rucksacks free of charge. There is even more sport for our guests in the weekly Active Mountain programme.
