Monte Roen via ferrata
Ta na Monte Roen to łatwa, ale satysfakcjonująca via ferrata, która wspina się na najwyższe wzniesienie grzbietu Mendel - szczyt Monte Roen o tej samej nazwie.
Opis trasy:
Z przełęczy Mendel (1 363 m n.p.m.) szlakiem 521 umiarkowanie pod górę do schroniska Halbweghütte i schroniska Roen Alm. Dalej drogą do schroniska Überetscherhütte na wysokości 1 773 m. Tutaj alpiniści podążają za znakami do via ferraty i dochodzą do wschodniej ściany i wejścia na via ferratę w stromych zakrętach.
Najpierw wspinamy się stromo przez wąwóz, a następnie przechodzimy w lewo i bez trudu docieramy do zejścia poniżej grani. Po przejściu w lewo dociera się szlakiem turystycznym do krzyża na szczycie Monte Roen (2 116 m n.p.m.).
Droga powrotna ze szczytu wiedzie szlakiem 521, który prowadzi z powrotem do Roen Alm. Stamtąd należy podążać ścieżką wspinaczkową z powrotem do przełęczy Mendel.
