W sumie ścieżka rowerowa Val Pusteria z Rio di Pusteria do Lienz we Wschodnim Tyrolu ma 105 km długości. Ale nie martw się, trasa nie musi być pokonana w jeden dzień, jest podzielona na trzy różne etapy.
Etap 1 z Rio di Pusteria do Brunico
Pierwszy etap prowadzi rowerzystów z Rio di Pusteria do Vandoies i przez krótki podjazd do Chienes, a stamtąd przez Ehrenburg do San Lorenzo di Sebato i Brunico (25,5 km).
2. etap z Brunico do San Candido
Drugi etap rozpoczyna się w Brunico. Prowadzi przez Percę do Valdaory i przez Welsberg, Villabassa i Dobbiaco do San Candido, gdzie etap kończy się po 33,5 km.
Etap 3 z San Candido do Lienz
Z kolei ostatni etap prowadzi z San Candido przez granicę do Sillian i dalej do Lienz. 44-kilometrową trasę można również pokonać pociągiem w drodze powrotnej.
Oczywiście na trasie rowerowej w dolinie Val Pusteria znajduje się wiele przystanków i miejsc piknikowych. Nie trzeba przejeżdżać wszystkich etapów za jednym razem, ale można też wybrać się na wycieczkę rowerową indywidualnie.
