During the Christmas season, the Christmas markets attract with interesting products and warming tea and invite you to stay for a while. But it's not always so thoughtful. Once a year, the Krampuses are up to mischief.

The Krampus run in Bruneck has a long tradition and is one of the most exciting ones throughout South Tyrol. Over 400 "devils" from Bruneck and the surrounding villages trek through the city center and scare the spectators.

It's getting hot

Pustertal has a lot to offer: Besides the Krampuses, you will be enchanted by the fire show of painted demons – or you will be detained: The very naughty ones are put in a cage and are then a part of the parade. But don't worry, all of them returned safely so far.

Every stall on the Christmas market has longer opening hours on that day. Who dares should not miss this spectacle in any case!
