48h hike with Kammerlander

Together with untiring hikers, he overcame a part of the high route of Meran in about 24 hours. Due to the following enthusiasm and demand, Kammerlander has repeated this demanding tour nearly every year on different routes – and finally he extended it to 36 hours in order to satisfy even very fastidious and insensible mountain lovers.
A very special two-day hike
However, for some participants even these marches lasting one and a half day were still too short. That’s why Kammerlander now dares to go on a 48 hours hike together with all those mountaineers, who really have stamina. For the tour he has chosen again the high route of Meran (just as for the very first one), but this time he wants to cope with the whole distance. With stops and food, but without sleep or longer breaks.
48 hours hike 2017:
- From 24 to 26 August
- High route of Meran, start in Naturns
- Distance: ca 100 kilometres & 3,500 meters elevation gain
- Tour with Hans Kammerlander and his guides
- Welcoming and final buffet as well as food and drinks during the tour for all hikers
- Requirements: absolute health, sure-footedness, exceptional physical fitness and power rating
