Alpine Tales

When the leaves turn golden in autumn and when the clear mountain air offers unique panoramic views, it is time for the Alpine Tales in South Tyrol. From 12th October to 2nd November 2024, those who are interested will experience the authenticity and nature in South Tyrol in a very special way.

Several mountain huts and other locations of the holiday regions Gitschberg Jochtal, Brixen, Klausen-Barbian-Feldthurns-Villanders, Natz-Schabs and Lüsen offer an exciting programme with different holiday experiences. The most important topics are tradition, pleasures and healthy activities in nature. As well, the Alpine Tales are a good opportunity to get to know South Tyrol and its inhabitants personally.

Programme & participation

The weekly programme of the South Tyrolean Alpine Tales includes experiences such as cheese and beer tastings, apple hikes, farm visits, photo safaris or magical sunsets. As well, the participating huts offer selected autumn dishes.

You will also have the right to free rides on the cable cars Gitschberg at Meransen and Jochtal at Vals, free public transport across South Tyrol, free admission to over 90 museums and exhibitions in South Tyrol, free ride on the Almbus shuttle to the Rodenecker-Lüsner Alp.
