Ortler Bike Marathon - Inser Volksradltog

At the Ortler Bike Marathon in the Upper Vinschgau Valley, every mountain biker can take part. Thanks to the cooperation with the railway, steep and difficult ascents can be overcome with the mountain railway. In addition, the route will not be closed, everyone can take part and, if desired, also take shortcuts. There will also be two short routes for families and children – more details will be announced by Glurns Marketing. 

Start and finish are in the village of Glurns. There are 3 common start times to choose from, but you can start at any time after picking up your start package. The start package includes: the stamp card, a participant gift, lift tickets for the mountain railways (Watles, Haideralm, Schöneben, Nauders), meal voucher with a drink, to be redeemed at the festival square in Glurns, entry card for the raffle and a finisher medal. The route runs along the signposted Ortler Bike Marathon route, along which several stamp stations have been set up. It is up to everyone to decide which stamp stations and how to reach them.

Medals:

Gold medal: all stamp stations are reached without using the mountain railways.
Silver medal: more than 3 stamp stations are reached (use of the cable cars possible).
Bronze medal: at least 1 stamp stations are reached (use of the cable cars possible).

The completed stamp card is then handed in on the arrival to Glurns.
