Spęd bydła alpejskiego w Południowym Tyrolu
Jesienią w całym Południowym Tyrolu obchodzony jest spęd bydła. Najlepsze krowy mleczne są ozdabiane misternie zdobionymi wieńcami, zdrowe cielęta są koronowane lub dekorowane świeżymi kwiatami, a owce są oznaczone kolorami. Zwierzęta są witane w dolinie muzyką orkiestry dętej, targami rolniczymi, festiwalami folklorystycznymi i oklaskami, a następnie dumnie i podekscytowane podążają przez wioski do swoich zimowych kwater.
Spęd bydła w Południowym Tyrolu odbywa się od połowy września do końca października, w zależności od miejscowości. Znane wydarzenia obejmują spęd bydła w Terento, który jest organizowany w ramach "Terner Schmelzpfandl", spęd bydła w Maranzie, który jest jednym z największych w kraju i co roku przyciąga tysiące odwiedzających, a także tak zwany Schafschoad w Senales w Merano Land i w Kematen w Aurinie.
